White's Tree Frog
54
The White’s Tree Frog is a very obese frog. Though the frog is obese it is also a very thorough, swift, and quick climber. They also have very powerful suctions at the ends of there toes. They can hang upside down as they walk along branches or anything else that they may be on. They tend to be a pale green on average. In more humid conditions they tend to become more brown than green. Though in more dry conditions they tend to become bluer.
The White’s Tree Frog eats quite a few different animals. All of these animals tend to be cricket-like, such as: crickets, cockroaches, locust, moths, and beetles. These frogs get eaten by animals like snakes and some other larger reptiles. Since frogs are amphibious they inhabit land and water so they can move around if one ecosystem is going through a problem. They also keep down the populations of their prey. These are all very important niches of the White’s Tree Frog.
